A Texas Hold’em variation in which players are dealt 5 pocket cards, and the five community cards are dealt face-down and then revealed one-by-one after each betting round.
The Deal Each player is dealt five pocket cards face down. Five more face-down cards are dealt to the table (or ‘board’).
Betting Rounds
The first board card is flipped over, and players bet. Players can use each of the board cards in conjunction with their pocket cards to form a standard poker hand.
Once betting has completed, the next board card is turned face up and another round of betting begins.
A round of betting follows after each board card is turned up. After the last card is turned up, the final round of betting takes place, where players will know their final hand, formed from the board cards and their pocket cards.
Variations
High/low game where a qualifying low hand wins half the pot.
Player with the highest card of a specified board card’s suit (usually the 3rd or 5th board card) wins half of the pot.
