A stud game where players receive 3 face-up cards and 2 face-down cards.
Betting Structure
Players bet in the normal way, with set limits and a maximum of 3 raises per betting round. Antes are used.
The Deal Players all post an ante. Players are then dealt 2 cards: one face-up and one face-down. Players bet on the basis of their two cards and the cards the can see of the other players.
Round 2 After betting each player receives another face-up card. Another round of betting commences.
Round 3 Players receive their 4th card, face up, and another round of betting takes place.
Round 4 Players receive their 5th card, face down, and one last round of betting commences.
The Showdown The player with the highest hand wins the pot.
Variations
Betting limits and number of allowed raises can be changed.
Bets can be divided into small and big, as in hold’em games, with the later rounds using a higher bet amount.
