A stud game with one less betting round than standard 7-Card Stud.

Bet Sizes Games of Mississippi Stud Poker are identified by their bet size. The first two rounds of betting use the small bet size, and subsequent rounds use the large bet size. Antes are either the same as the small bet or ½ of the small bet. All bets and raises must be equal to the relevant bet size.

The Deal After posting an ante, players are each dealt two cards face down and one card face up. Players bet, starting with the player whose face-up card has the lowest value, who must post a bet.

2nd Deal Players are dealt two more face up cards. They now each have two face-down cards and three face up cards. Betting begins again, starting with the compulsory bet from the player with the lowest face-up cards.

3rd Deal One more up card is dealt to each player. Now players have four up cards and two down cards. Betting begins again, starting with the compulsory bet from the player with the lowest face-up cards. Bets are now increased to the high bet level.

4th Deal Players are dealt one more face up card, so that each has two face down and five face up in total. Betting begins again, starting with the compulsory bet from the player with the lowest face-up hand.

After the final bet, there is a showdown, and the player with the best hand wins the pot.
